- Poster presented at the 50th Magnetism and Magnetic Materials conference, San Jose, California, USA, October 30 - November 3, 2005. Poster title: ”Temperature dependence of laser-induced magnetization dynamics in GdFeCo films: The role of angular momentum compensation.”
- Awarded for the Best Poster Presentation.
Magnetism and Magnetic Materials Conference (MMM) is one of the largest international conferences on Magnetism. The Best Poster Award is given "to recognize excellence in research and presentation". The selection for this award is “based on the level of the research, quality of the poster, and clarity of the presentation". More about this annual conference can be found here.

The research presented in this poster was published in Physical Review B as a Rapid Communication [Phys. Rev. B 73, 220402(R) (2006)].
- Poster presented at the 10th Joint MMM/Intermag Conference, Baltimore, USA, January 2007. Poster title: ”Sub-picosecond Magnetization Reversal Across Ferrimagnetic Compensation Points in GdFeCo”

The research presented in this poster will be published in Physical Review Letters.
- Poster presented at the Institute for Molecules and Materials (IMM) Symposium, Nijmegen, The Netherlands - May 7 & 8, 2007. Poster title: ”Swityching Magnets by Light” - Awarded for the Best Poster Presentation.
The main objective of IMM Symposium is for all research groups to have a chance to present the progress they made during the last year. All 200+ researchers of the IMM assemble for a two day programme of lectures, posters and informal conversation. The topics are as varied as the IMM and give all participants a chance to broaden their scientific horizon. More about the IMM Symposium can be found here.

The research presented in this poster was published in Physical Review Letters [Phys. Rev. Lett. 99, 047601 (2007)].
